Originally, the classical theories such as Taylors’ theory of scientific management focus on the tangible outcomes. There was overlooking of the nepotism that was found to exist in the societies (Shields et al., 2015). It does not factor in the innate needs of the situation. Another popular classical theory was the Weber theory.

Weber theory is about the classification of the people into three kinds. In this the people were classified into three kinds. The innate critique of this model was the stifling of creativity and the reduced effectiveness. These models do find relevance in the current times, it is not entirely outdated. The Toyota production system of manufacturing uses this model to ensure that the quality outcomes of the people are met.
